questions?

We've got you covered.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Do I have to be naked?
Here at THE BODYHEArt STUDIO, we prefer the term "nude", as you'll be posed tastefully and covered in beautiful imagery created by a talented artist. *No nudity is required. Partial to full body painting options are available. You have the option of posing fully nude, partially nude, or with no nudity at all.  Your artistic photo shoot is an expression of your individual essence, and we are here to create a tailored experience just for you.

  2. Can I have anything painted?
The mission of THE BODYHEArt STUDIO  is to uplift, empower, and celebrate women at various stages of life.  All submissions must be approved by the artist. No sexually suggestive paintings, drug-related or hate-related themes, or otherwise explicit or offensive content will be permitted.

  3. What if I don't know what I want?
No worries! The artist will ask you questions to figure out in which direction you'd like the creativity to flow.  You can also provide the artist with samples of what you'd like, and the artist will interpret the imagery for you.

  4. Can an entire group be painted?
Yes! Bring your besties and make it a ladies night! You can be painted and photographed individually, and/or take group photos.

  5. Can I use props for my photo shoot?
Yes! You are welcome to bring your own props, or choose from props currently in our inventory.

  6. Where will the body painting and photo shoot take place?
You can come into the studio to get painted, or we can bring the experience to you, in the comfort of your own home or location of your choice.

  7. What happens if I am late for my scheduled appointment?
If you are late, your body painting may need to be simplified and/or your photo shoot will be shortened or eliminated altogether.  We can only grant you the time slot that you have reserved in advance. You must arrive on time so that we can prepare for the next appointment.  No refunds will be issued.

  8. Can men get painted, too?
Men can be painted for special events, print ads, etc., that do not require nudity.  If you have a special project in mind, let's chat about it.

  9. Do I have to pay all at once?
No. A nonrefundable deposit is required to book your photo shoot. The remaining balance can be paid in 1 or 2 installments before your scheduled booking.
